Membership Our U3A group BNB (BulkingtonNuneatonBedworth) is actively seeking new members. We have applied for a grant to finance further publicity and provide a newsletter. We hope to make more people in our area aware of the benefits of belonging to our group. Anyone wishing to join U3A can get a membership pack by going to the “To Join” link.

Our U3A  (University of the Third Age) is part of a national and international voluntary learning co-operative whose aim is to encourage lifelong learning for mature people.  This U3A  was set up as a self-help group, to provide educational, creative, leisure and social activities for members of the local community no longer in full time employment.

There are now 240+ members and 13 different groups. Activity groups meet at various venues around the area and we have monthly open meetings in Nuneaton and Bulkington.. Our leaders give their time and expertise voluntarily. No qualifications are required and none are awarded. The cost for membership is  £12 per year. Some activity groups make a charge (max £2) per session. The U3A offers the opportunity to make new friends, learn a new skill, visit places of interest or take up a new hobby.

Writing Group. First meeting Wednesday 8th Feb at Nicholas Chamberlaine College, Bedworth, 4.15 - 6pm.

Cookery & Healthy Eating. Due to lack of numbers the initial meeting of this group has been postponed. New date to be announced shortly.
